Hello! I’m Alex, a multidisciplinary designer with two decades of experience. So far, my career has been made of two parts. I was a designer for 12 years working in London, Paris and Dubai until 2017 when I Co-Founded The Uncommon, Wine of England.
I’m hugely passionate about developing brands, identities and their communications and strive to deliver ideas-driven, simplistic and intelligent work that is aesthetically pleasing and expertly crafted.
I take projects from conceptual development stage through to artwork, either as part of a team or individually.
2005 - 2017
For 12 years I worked as a Graphic Designer at all levels, in a variety of Ad/marketing and branding agencies, ranging from a start-up of 4 people in Dubai to a 100+ team at a multinational ad agency.
2017 - 2024
In 2017, I co-founded The Uncommon, Wine of England - a pioneering, canned wine brand. Available in UK supermarkets, iconic sporting venues such as Wimbledon and Lords Cricket Ground, also airlines including British Airways and Icelandair.
Over the next 7 years I was an integral part of building a successful, premium brand that now has 2 sparkling wines, 3 still wines and 2 wine spritzers.
As Head of Brand and Design, I initially created the brand world and packaging, then managed and designed multiple projects across England and New Zealand.
Skills/Expertise
I have designed a broad range of work including but not limited to:
Brand building | Visual Identity | FMCG Packaging | Brand guidelines | Annual reports |
Design direction | Brand toolkits | Typography | Brand activations
